| Gambit is originally from New Orleans where he grew up as a pickpocket. While there he became a member of the Thieves Guild. He later left New Orleans to explore the world and to practice his skills. A chance meeting with Storm led Gambit to the X-Men. Gambit's mutant powers allow him to charm people with a telepathic power. He can also charge any object with kinetic energy, resulting in an exposion.
